For Jaklyn Royal, ballroom dancing has never simply been a profession. It has been a lifelong passion.
Born into a family of professional ballroom dancers, Jaklyn began dancing at three and entered the competitive ballroom world at just six. At 21 she opened her first dance studio, which she owned for seven years. Her career then took her to New York City, where she managed one of the nation's leading Fred Astaire Dance Studios while competing at an elite international level.
She went on to build a successful ballroom studio in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood, which she ran for eight years. Now based in the Longmont–Boulder area, Jaklyn brings a lifetime of experience, artistry and personal attention to clients seeking something beyond the ordinary dance lesson.
